I don’t have discoloration issues like you, but I think the whiteness has gone dull all over. Or maybe it’s just me:D

What’s really pissing me off is the booting up issue that started 5 months ago. I have to press the power button at least 5 seconds or until the long ‘beep’ sound appear for my MB to startup. Sometimes it fails during the startup process.

I hope the service centre can fix my problem.

It’s about 3 months old now, no problems. Of course to avoid discoloration I purchased a keyboard protector. Still looking for the protector for the areas beside the touch pad. Also no discoloration yet.

Btw, I heard that black macbooks get smeared with fingerprints all the time…hard to clean also. Ah well, the price to pay for design. Thanx 4 sharing anyway 😀
